January 14, 2009 – State of the Net Conference hosted by the Advisory Committee to the Congressional Internet Caucus
The conference will frame the technology policy debates that will challenge the new Administration and the new Congress. The Congressional Internet Caucus is a bi-partisan group of over 170 members of the House and Senate working to educate their colleagues about the promise and potential of the Internet. Project HealthDesign blogger, Lygeia Ricciardi, will be moderating a panel (What’s Congress’ Role in the Health IT Revolution?) on health information exchange and changes, including a shift toward greater patient involvement in health care, expected in the field in 2009.
